Here we can talk about people in certain positions within the game who really have no business in those positions.
We're awaiting an update on one in particular. Regarding a trustee of the Agriculture and New York State Horse Breeding Development Fund who we have found benefits immensely using his position. More to come on this one.

First Up: Back to Steve Jones, President Board Of Directors Goshen Historic Track and Trustee of Agriculture & New York State Horse Breeding Development Fund. Just acquired some transcripts from the trial of USA vs. Ross Cohen where he describes his position as Assistant Director of Racing which he seemed to remember just fine in an article from Times Herald Record on July 8th, 2019. Yet needed a little help in court as to how, what and why regarding his salaried position at Historic Track while still not allowed to compete as a trainer and was hired by Mr. Jones and the BOD of GHT. Tomorrow I will do a live on Facebook and read some of the questions and answers that were given and how he responded. You'll want to hear all the inside on this one.

Quick Note: To those saying only guilt here was bad judgement in hiring. Cohen was banned from harness racing when hired. Same commission that governs pari mutuel racing, gaming and also governs the stakes races he was controlling during "the meet".

Saturday on Facebook in the evening I will be doing a live to update with the latest on this one. Seems the AG's office in Albany is incredibly interested in resolving this one. Incredible conflicts of interest in control of state funds toward the NYS breeding industry and sire stakes.
